Jacqueline Marie Weis (Johnson), age 79, of Conklin, passed away with family at her side Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at her home. She was born in Grand Rapids MI to Clyde and Lucille (Didion) Johnson who preceded her in death. Jackie worked at Leigh Products in Coopersville and at Conklin Farm Equipment as a bookkeeper for 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. In her younger years she love to ride horses, she enjoyed oil painting, bowling, playing golf, tending her flower gardens and spending time in Florida. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 57 years Christopher; children Craig (Laura) Weis, Keith (Tammy) Weis, Karleen (Richard) Schuiling and Kyle (Rose) Weis; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one additional great grandchild to arrive in December; brother Dr. Jeff (Carolyn) Johnson; three sisters, Joan Drake, Jan Harrison, Judy (Arno) Driedger; sister-in-law Linda (Dennis) Best and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:30 am at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2044 Gooding Road, Conklin, MI 49403. Interment at St Francis Xavier Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday one hour prior to the service at Church. Memorial donations may be made to St Francis Xavier Church, or Spectrum Health Hospice, 100 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49502.
