Jack Piccard Sr

Jack W. Piccard Sr., age 86, of Coopersville, passed away December 15, 2015. Jack was born in Marne, MI. to the late Henry and Nellie (De Liefde) Piccard. Jack was also preceded in death by his son David, brother, Harold and sister, Marie. He served in the U.S. Air Force and owned Jacké�a�a��s Automart in Allendale for many years where he sold used cars. Jack never met a stranger, He enjoyed golfing, traveling, wintering in Florida, playing cards, was a member of the Grand Rapids Cribbage Club, and life member of the Marne American Legion. Jack is survived by his wife, Phyllis; children, Jack Jr and Stacy Piccard, Paul and Julie Piccard, Ronald Weber and Kelly and Rick Domasik; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Henry Jr. and Harriet Piccard and James and Josephine Piccard; sister Elaine and Wally VanHouten; sister-in-law, Jean Piccard and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P. M. Friday, Dec. 18, 2015 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville with burial in Rosedale Memorial Park in Standale. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
