Hunter Arlo Klompstra, age 18, of Marne, MI., completed his journey on earth January 1, 2020 and now walks with the angels. Hunter was born in Grand Rapids, MI., on March 2, 2001, he was a graduate of Coopersville High School Class of 2019 and worked at Gull Lake Marina in Coopersville. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Smithe. Hunter enjoyed spending time with his friends, and working on his truck. Hunter will be deeply missed by his parents, Sam and Jamie (Matzat) Klompstra; brothers, Nick VanderMolen, Samuel (Samantha) VanderMolen and Ethan Klompstra; niece and nephew, Payton and Theo VanderMolen; grandparents; Robert (Joan) Matzat, Diane Smithe, Dennis Klompstra; great grandmothers, Ella Renney and Edith (Jim) Betras; aunts and uncles, Dennis Klompstra, David Klompstra, Daniel (Liz) Klompstra, Jesse (Steve) Wabeke, Robert (Michelle) Matzat, several cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life Open House to celebrate Hunters life will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Coopersville VFW Post, 511 68th Ave N, Coopersville, MI 49404.
