Henry M. Kuperus, age 79 of Coopersville, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Thea and daughter Christine. Also greeting him in glory are his brothers John, Fred and Frank. Henry é�a�A"Hammeré�a�� was a loving father to Janice (Doug) Hoezee, Miles (Joy), Amy (Dan) Koetsier, Frank (Dawn), John (Laura), Chad Boyce. He was a grandfather to Blair, Annie, Janie, Irene, Emily, John, Taya, Isaac, Ben, Landon, Josie, Tate, Nolan, Wyatt and Oliver and great grandfather to Elias. Henry leaves behind his sister Grace DeVries and brother Harry along with many in-laws, cousins and friends, including his best friend and é�a�A"brotheré�a�� John Kooistra. Henry immigrated to New Jersey from the Netherlands in the 50é�a�a��s and settled in Michigan in the late 60é�a�a��s to farm. In the early 80é�a�a��s Henry (Henry from the Hardware) took a job at Lemmen Shell and faithfully worked there until he retired in 2011. Whatever he received he considered a blessing from God and in turn would use those blessings to help anyone in need. Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday at Little Farms Chapel, 2518 Arthur St, Coopersville, MI 49404, with Rev Robert VanManen officiating. Burial will be in Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville.
