Guy C. Winn, age 82, of Cedar Springs, MI., passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 with family at his side. He was born in Strawberry AR., to the late William and Toy (Crawford) Winn. Guy served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was retired from Georgia Pacific where he was a supervisor in the Gypsum Manufacturing Division. Guy loved to spend time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed woodworking and furniture refinishing as well as spending time outdoors, fishing and tending his vegetable and flower gardens. Guy is survived by his wife of 63 yrs. Augustine and on July 26 they would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. He is also survived by his children, Stanley Winn, Ron (Heidi) Winn, Deb (Don) Foster and Kim (Dave) Baar; 6 grandchildren, Tricia (Rev. Mike) Metten, Nate (Amanda) Winn, Rebecca Foster, Michelle Foster, Mae Baar and Jon Baar; 8 great grandchildren, Brody, Wyatt and Evelyn Metten, Trever, Emily, Brenan, Jaxon and Tanner Winn; sisters-in-law, Nancy Winn, Velma Edmondson and Faye Dean Manley; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Patty Winn; sisters, Nellie Brown, Erma Jean McDaniel and Nettie é�a�A"Sisteré�a�� Whitby; brothers, DL Winn, Arthur Cleo Winn and Billy Joe Winn. Funeral Services will be Wednesday 12 Noon at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, MI 49404, with Dan McDaniel officiating. Burial in Rosedale Memorial Park, Standale, MI.
