Golden Mitchell

Golden Ellen Mitchell, of Grand Haven formerly of Spring Lake, MI, age 97, passed away Wednesday, Sep. 28, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Josephine (Guldholm) Burden, husband Perry Mitchell and grandson Eric Hartman. She was retired from Spring Lake Public Schools where she worked as a bus driver. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends and loved crafts of all kinds. She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Donald) Hartman; son, James (Yvonne) Mitchell; 5 grandchildren Brad (Carla) Hartman, Julie (Chris) Crowder, Lisa (Greg) Gardner, Beth (Sandor) Suuli and Brooke Sheldon; 8 great grandchildren, Erica, Jessica, Emily, Aaren, Seth, Jonathan, Cameron, Ava, Devin, Alex and Madison; 3 sisters-in-law Elizabeth VanderLaan, Deloris Clark and Ione Lautenbach and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place, services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday Oct. 8, 2016 at the Throop Funeral Home 214 Church St, Coopersville MI 49404. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of N.
