Gerald Gillespie

Mr Gerald Gillespie, aged 80, of Conklin passed away Monday Dec 12, 2011. Gerald was born July 28, 1931 in Conklin, MI. to Joseph and Gertrude (Dekker) Gillespie both of whom preceded him in death. Gerald was also preceded in death by his wife Delores in 2007 and daughter-in-law Sandie in 2008. He was retired from the Muskegon Co. Road Commission and was a member of the Conklin Reformed Church. He is survived by his 3 sons, Stanley, Alan (Faythe), and Robert (Theresa); daughter, Kathy (Dan) Norton; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Merle) Bonter and Norma Gillespie; sister-in-laws, Ruby Gentz, Edith McDonald and Grace Hitt; brother-in-law, George Gillhespy and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday 11:00 am at the Conklin Reformed Church, Rev Tony DeLaRosa and Rev Rick Christy officiating. Interment in Ravenna Twp. Cemetery.
