George Spencer

George A. é�a�A"Skipé�a�� Spencer, age 51, of Grand Haven, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, George H. Spencer, nephew, Randy Argil and niece, Jalissa VanderMaas. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Marie (Geldersma) Spencer; children, Kari (Tim) Paintin, Ken (Paula) Spencer, Amber (Brandon) Moore, Kelsey Kilbry and Kristy Buckowing; 10 grandchildren; mother, Lois Spencer; siblings, Tony Spencer, Jeff Spencer, Dennis (Libby) Spencer, Dave (Cheri) Spencer, Gene (Sandy) Spencer; in-laws, Jalaine (John) VanDyke, Vicky (Gary) Oorbeck, John (Mary) Geldersma, Vicky Geldersma, Andrew Geldersma and several nieces and nephews. George worked at C.N.A. Manufacturing where he ran the largest laser machine in Michigan. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling with his wife, spending time with his family and will to be deeply missed by his dogs, Loki and Nuki. In keeping with George's wish, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Coopersville Bible Church, 35 Hillcrest St, Coopersville, MI 49404 with Rev. Tim McGarvey officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial donations may be made at www.gofundme.com/georgefightscancer. A memorial benefit will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Grand Haven Eagles, 20 N 2nd St, Grand Haven, MI 49417 to also assist the family with expenses.
