Geneva H (Schoonover) Miller

Geneva H. Miller, age 91, of Coopersville formerly of Newaygo and Marne, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023. She was born in Concord, MI to the late John and Leda Schoonover (Campbell). In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George Miller, daughter Sharon Essex, son Wesley Miller and son-in-law Bud Caruso. Geneva enjoyed crafting, Bible class at County Line Community Church, spending her winters at Orange Blossom RV Park in Florida and loved playing bingo. She will be deeply missed by her children, Linda (Gary) Moore, Mike (Pam) Hargrove, Deborah (Pete) Posthuma, Claudia Caruso, Tom (Kathi) Miller; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; brother, Bill Erven; several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St. Coopersville, MI 49404 with pastor Tom Lutke officiating. Burial will take place in Roseland Memorial Gardens, Jackson, MI. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Throop Funeral Home.
