Frieda Schneider

Frieda D. Schneider, age 88, of Marne, passed away Tuesday Oct 15, 2013 at St Anné�a�a��s Home. She was born Feb 6, 1925 in Wright Twp. MI to Albert and Emma (Finkler) Fritz. Frieda was a lifelong member of St Maryé�a�a��s Catholic Church in Marne and a member of the Marne American Legion Post 376 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved spending time and sharing with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Frieda had a special place in her heart for babies, she loved them all. Frieda stayed busy raising her family and working alongside her husband Jack. They were involved in many business ventures in Marne including a Service Station, Sporting Goods Store, Insurance Agency and Tree Nursery. Frieda was preceded in death by her husband Jack Schneider and former husband Herm Umlor, son Michael Schneider, granddaughter Andrea é�a�A"Busteré�a�� Schneider, grandson Bradley Schneider and great granddaughter Shelby Schneider. She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Kyle é�a�A"Marieé�a��), David (Phyllis), John (Tiffany), Joseph (Kathy), Jeffrey (Kimberly), Mark (Pam Beia); daughters, Nancy (Randy) Lowing, Ellen (Glenn) Kettlebar, Janine (Joseph) Bailey, Rebecca (Rick) Warners; daughter-in-law Dee Schneider; 41 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Mary (Floyd) Bradley; sister-in-law Mary Jean Schneider and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Saturday at St Maryé�a�a��s Catholic Church in Marne with Fr. David Gross celebrant. Burial will be in St. Maryé�a�a��s Catholic Cemetery in Marne. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 9 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville with a scripture service Friday evening at 6 pm and Saturday morning one hour prior to the funeral mass at church.
