Fredrick Goll

Fred H. Goll Jr., aged 83, of Ravenna, passed away peacefully Monday, Nov 14, 2016. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Francis (Bates) Goll; granddaughter Faith Taylor; siblings, Frank Goll, Albert Goll, and Wesley Goll. Fred will be deeply missed by his wife of 65 years, Helen Goll; children, Gary Goll, Freda (Michael) Hastings, April Goll, Shari (Roger) Taylor; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Alice Goll; sister-in-law, Geraldine é�a�A"Peggyé�a�� Hittle and several nieces and nephews. Fred worked in manufacturing for 25 years and retired in 1999. Fred was the owner and operator of the Ravenna News Stand for 24 years. He was also very active with the Ravenna school board, and the Muskegon County Salvation Army Board. Fred enjoyed spending time with his family and also his animals. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place Thursday 11 am at Ravenna Free Methodist Church, 2620 S Ravenna Rd, Ravenna, MI 49451. Relatives and friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at church. Memorial donations may be made to Fountain View Assisted Living.
