Frank Henry Veeneman, age 92, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021. He was born in Coopersville, MI to the late Henry and Gertrude (VanderVeen) Veeneman. In addition to his parents Frank was preceded in death by his wife Gloria (Ritz) Veeneman, brothers Harold Veeneman and George Veeneman, sisters Celia Pelton, Nellie Walt and Minnie Doornbos. He was a lifelong resident of Coopersville and longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Conklin. Frank loved spending time with his family and friends as well as his Fountain View Family. He was an avid Tigers fan, enjoyed the outdoors and could be found scooting around town on his scooter usually headed for coffee and donuts at the Delly Belly. He will be deeply missed by his children, Linda (Matt / M.J.) Arends, Karen (Tom) Toogood and Julie (Mike) Hammond; grandchildren, Matthew Arends III, Jeanne (Robert) Vautaw, Nicholas Arends, James (Denise) Toogood, Jody (Timothy) Foster, Chase Hammond and Drew Hammond; great grandchildren, William Vautaw, Madeline Vautaw and London Toogood; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 30, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1379 Harding St, Conklin, MI 49403 with Rev. Mark Oswald officiating. Burial will be next to his wife at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Conklin. Relatives and friends may meet the family 6 – 8 P.M. Thursday at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville and Friday at Church one hour prior to the service.
