Edward Peterson

Edward Harry Peterson, age 88, of Coopersville, a man of great faith was called home to heaven on April 26, 2016 and is now rejoicing with his Lord. Ed was born in Woodville, MI. to the late Harry and Reka (VanAussan) Peterson. He served as a Navy SeaBee during WW II, retired from Doehler-Jarvis in Grand Rapids where he worked for over 25 years and was a lifelong farmer. Ed loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and taught them the value of hard work and enjoyed sharing his knowledge as they helped him on the farm. He was always there for his friends, family and anyone that needed help. Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian; son-in-law, Mark Gaunt; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his children Sharon (Bob) Langeland, Gary (Ellie) Peterson, Rebecca Gaunt and Greg (Amy) Peterson; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren with one more expected in August and 1 great great grandson.
