Drew R. Veeneman, age 37, of Angier, NC. formerly of Coopersville, MI., passed away of accidental injuries Sunday August 20, 2017. Drew grew up in Coopersville, was baptized and attended the Coopersville Reformed Church, graduated from Coopersville High School and Ferris State University Plastics Engineering degree. He lived in several locations after his graduation working in Colorado, Wisconsin, Texas and North Carolina. Drew was a member of the Coopersville Sportsman's Club and Grand Haven American Legion Post 28 SAL. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes and spending time with family and friends. Drew is survived by his mother, Mary Veeneman; father, Don Veeneman; brothers, Brent (April) Veeneman and Aaron (Jeanie) Veeneman; sister, Stacey (Blair) Cook; godson and nephew Reece; nephews and nieces, Parker, Caden, Megan, Blake, Ailyn and Vaugn; grandparents, Ernie and Donna Bush; uncles and aunt, Jim (Lisa) Bush, Steve (Cris) Bush, Betty (Joe) Wurm, Kal Veeneman and many cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 AM at the Coopersville Reformed Church with Rev. Arnold VanBeek officiating. Burial will be in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Visitation 5 - 7 pm Friday at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
