Dorothy Elizabeth (Armock) Myers, age 97, of Coopersville, Michigan, passed away on July 8, 2026. She was born on August 22, 1928, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and lived a long and meaningful life marked by love, faith, and devotion to her family and friends.
Dorothy was a loving, friendly, and faith-filled woman whose presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her. She treasured the simple joys of life and especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. For 68 years, she made her home in Conklin, Michigan, where she built a life centered on caring relationships, steady faith, and lasting memories. Those who knew Dorothy will remember her kind spirit, welcoming nature, and the genuine interest she took in the lives of others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Myers; her son, Thomas Myers; her son-in-law, Tim Klein; her brothers, Harold Armock, Raymond Armock, Edmund Armock, Vincent Armock, James Armock, and Leonard Armock; her sister, Arlene; and her brothers-in-law, Fritz Kluting and Leonard Schoenborn. Dorothy also mourned the loss of many loved ones who went before her and now joins them in eternal peace.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Joseph (Robin) Myers, Richard Myers, Carleen Klein, and Daniel Myers. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Carol Myers; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; her sisters, Agatha Kluting and Bertha Schoenborn; her sisters-in-law, Marianne Armock, Vivian Armock, and Erma Armock; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory. Her family was a source of great joy in her life, and she was deeply devoted to each of them.
Dorothy’s life was a testament to faith, love, and perseverance. She touched the hearts of those around her through her gentle manner, her steadfast values, and the example she set through the way she lived each day. Her legacy will live on in the lives of her children, grandchildren, extended family, and all who were blessed to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will remain a comfort and a blessing to those who loved her.
Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Church, 2044 Gooding St, Conklin, MI 49403. A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at church with Fr. Nick Baker celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Francis Xavier cemetery.
