Doris Chapman

Doris A. Chapman, age 72, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI., to the late William and Elsa (Vannatter) Chapman. She was a longtime member of Meadow Springs Church in Kentwood where she enjoyed fellowship with her church family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Chapman and nephew, Mike Chapman. Doris is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, William and Janice Chapman; sisters-in-law, Barbara Chapman and Flora Chapman; nieces, Vicki (Richard) Mathis and Tammy Chapman Hodge; nephews, Eric (Hollie) Chapman and James Chapman; aunt, Ruth (Don) Johnson; several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, Oct 18, 2018 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, MI 49404 with Pastor Jerry Neumair officiating. Burial will take place in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends 10 to 11 am Thursday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
