Donna Bennink

Donna M. Bennink, age 83,of Coopersville, was called home to her Lord Monday, October 8, 2018. Donna is a lifelong resident of Coopersville and was born in Polkton Twp. to the late Ambrose and Abbie (Dekline) Busman. She worked at Coopersville schools as a bus driver for 39 yrs. retiring in 2006. Donna was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Bennink on Dec. 18, 2017. She is survived by her children, Carla (Loren) VanDenBrink and Scott (Amy) Bennink; grandchildren, Lindsey (Ryan) Zic, Steven VanDenBrink, Gary Bennink and Greg Bennink; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Ken (Marlene) Busman, Karen (Bob) Grootenhuis and Wes (Bonnie) Busman; sisters-in-law, Irma Rotman, Ruth (Bob) Garvelink, Bonnie (Jerry) Buitendorp and Marilyn Bennink; brothers-in-law, Caroll (Dorothy) Bennink, Maurice (Lynn) Bennink and Alvin (Pat) Bennink; many nieces and nephews. Donna was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law Gordon Bennink. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Friday, Oct. 12th at the Coopersville Reformed Church with Rev. Arnold VanBeek officiating. Burial will take place at Coopersville Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 4-7 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville and Friday 10 to 11 am at Church.
