Dolores Mae Walcott, age 83, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025. She was born in Reed City, MI to the late Wilbert and May (McCarty) Good. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sons, Jay Walcott, Arthur Walcott; granddaughter, Karen Walcott; daughter-in-law, Karen Walcott, sister Patricia; brother, Jon; brothers-in-law, Jim (Barb) Walcott, Jerry Walcott and sister-in-law, Hazel Czinder. Dee was a women of strong faith and a long time member of Conklin Reformed Church, loved spending time with family and friends, was a devoted wife to Joe for 65 years. Her passion was working at Lamont head start for many years, tending her garden, poetry and writing. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Joseph Walcott; sons, David Walcott, Daniel (Diana) Walcott; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Charles (Janice) Walcott, Don (Jill) Walcott and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, June 6, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St. Coopersville, MI 49404. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Conklin Reformed Church, 3769 Sehler St, Conklin, MI 49403, with Rev. Sandra Nikkel officiating.
