Diane Elizabeth Zoeller

Jan 8, 1957 — Oct 18, 2026

Diane Elizabeth Zoeller, age 69, of Coopersville, Michigan, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2026. She was born Tuesday, January 8, 1957, in Grand Haven, Michigan, and lived a life marked by love, kindness, and devotion to the people and passions that mattered most to her.

Diane was a loving, friendly, and thoughtful woman whose warm presence touched the lives of many. She carried herself with quiet strength and a generous spirit, and she will be remembered for the genuine care she showed to family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her life was one of steady dedication, heartfelt connection, and simple joys that brought happiness to those around her. While her loved ones carry heavy hearts, they take immense comfort in the knowledge that Diane has been reunited with her daughter, Krystal.

Diane worked alongside her father and brother at Zoeller-Wilson Insurance Agency in Coopersville for 46 years until her retirement, eventually becoming the owner of the business. Through her many years in business, she became known not only for her strong work ethic and commitment to her customers, but also for the trust and kindness she brought to her work each day. Her long career reflected her loyalty, responsibility, and pride in serving her community.

Outside of work, Diane found joy in the things that made life beautiful. Above all, Diane was a fiercely devoted mother. She loved animals, especially her cats, and cared for them with the same tenderness she showed to the people in her life. Diane was also a talented artist who enjoyed painting, singing, and playing instruments. Music was an important part of her life, and she was proud to be part of the band at Area 96, where she shared her talents and her love of music with others.

Diane was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Krystal Nezwek; her mother Kathryn (Busman) Zoeller; her father and stepmother, Valentine and Sally (Hershberger) Zoeller; her sister, Carol Tankersley; and her nephew, Brian Feirick. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life, and she carried their love with her always.

She is survived by her siblings, Don (Pat) Zoeller, Barb Mulder, Steve (Kelly) Zoeller, and Valerie Bremer; her nephews, Kevin Zoeller and Alex (Anna) Holmes; and her nieces, Kari (Steve) Snyder, Kyla Holmes, and Katie (Matt) Stafford. She also leaves behind many extended family members and countless dear friends who will cherish her memory and the many ways she enriched their lives.

Diane’s legacy is one of love, loyalty, and quiet grace. She will be remembered for her gentle nature, her steady presence, and the many ways she brought comfort and joy to others. Her family and friends will hold close the memories of her laughter, her talents, and her caring heart.

In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. A memorial open house will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to CSNIP, 1300 Walker Village Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534. Condolences for the family may be left on Diane’s guestbook at www.throopfh.com.
