David Wilcox

David Michael Wilcox, age 52, passed away January 3, 2013, Thursday morning at his home in Coopersville. Dave was born on Jan 11, 1960 in Grand Rapids, MI. Dave will be fondly remembered by his wife, Lyda Wilcox; his children, Joanna Wilcox and Michael Wilcox; his sisters, Kathy (Don) Hardcastle of Colleyville, TX, and Susan (Tony) Keliipio of Honalulu, HI; and many other relatives and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his mother, Doris May Wilcox and father, Milton Earl Wilcox. Dave especially enjoyed volunteering his time with Camp Optimist in earlier years and Coopersville Athletic Boosters in more recent times. Dave enjoyed restoring old cars, photography, camping, hobby-farming and spending time with family and friends. In keeping with Daveé�a�a��s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Sunday 3 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville. Relatives and friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Davidé�a�a��s memory may be given to Spectrum Health Foundation / Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion, 100 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. The Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion has helped our family so much and your gift in Davidé�a�a��s memory will continue to help them assist other families who struggle with cancer.
