Dale Peck

March 20, 1944 — December 14, 2017

Dale W. Peck, age 73, of Coopersville, MI., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 14, 2017. He was a long time resident of Coopersville, graduate of Coopersville High School, served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and was retired from American Seating in Grand Rapids. Dale loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed woodworking, watching the birds and squirrels at the feeders outside his window. He traveled to Morley-Stanwood to visit his dear Amish friends and spend time with Bonnie at their "North House".  He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Don and Christine Peck and mother and stepfather, Dorothy and John Ross.  Dale is survived by his wife of 49 yrs. Bonnie; 3 daughters, Tammi (John) Hubert, Teresa (Matt) Tucker and Tara Peck and Ryan Sheridan; 9 grandchildren, Megan, Michael, Emma, Abigail, Shaun, Marcus, Keenan, Jaxson and Alayna as well as many foster grandchildren; 7 siblings, Sandy (Roger) Sitzer, Sally (Pat) Maxfield, Connie (Brian) Langlois, Darlene Peck and Kathy Cook, Dena (Claude) Sebright, David (Pam) Peck and Danny Peck; many nieces and nephews and special friend Jay VanReed. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 A.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, with burial at Maplewood cemetery in Lamont. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home in Coopersville. Memorial donations may be made to the FFA Agricultural Education and Leadership Fund C/O Coopersville Area Community Foundation, 182 East St. Rm 112, Coopersville, MI 49404.
