Dale é�a�A"Tobyé�a�� DeMull, age 76, of Coopersville, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016, peacefully in his sleep after a long struggle with COPD. He was born in Polkton Twp. to the late John and Maude (DeLooff) DeMull, graduated from Coopersville High School and owned and operated Toby DeMull Excavating and Snowplowing in Coopersville. Toby enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandson, they had a special place in his heart and he taught them many values. He also loved to spend time with his family and friends playing cards and board games. He enjoyed auto and snowmobile racing, watching his grandchildren participate in school programs and sports, tinkering in his shop and rides to Lakeview to visit the Amish bakery and cheese house. In addition to his parents He was preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Scott Maxwell; 6 brothers; 2 sisters; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leonard and Florence Van Dussen and Grandma Jane. Toby is survived by his wife, best friend and caretaker of 34 years Jennifer; children Cari (Steve) Piscitello, Greg (Kelli) DeMull and Lance (Priscilla) Fisher; grandchildren, Tyler (Lindsay) Maxwell, Torey Maxwell, Aaron Fisher, Brody DeMull, Gabrielle DeMull, Taylor Maxwell and Samantha Maxwell; great grandson Scott Maxwell; longtime member of the family Steve Schout; sisters, Betty Davis and Arlene (George) Wagner; sisters-in-law Becky (Paul) Schmidt, Priscilla (Fred) Howell and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place with a private family interment service at St Michaelé�a�a��s Cemetery in Coopersville. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Jennifers sister Priscilla for the love and support she has given these past few weeks. They also wish to thank the Doctors and Staff at Spectrum Health and St Anns Home for all their care.
