Connie Jean (Peck) Langlois

January 5, 1950 — June 15, 2026

Connie Jean Langlois (Peck), age 76, of Ravenna, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 15, 2026.

Connie was born on January 5, 1950, in Fremont, Michigan, to Donald and Dorothy Peck. She spent her early years between Fremont and Coopersville, later calling Grand Haven home during her teenage years.

Connie lived a life grounded in family, service, and quiet determination. She dedicated herself first and foremost to raising her three children—Scott, Tammy, and Jamie—choosing to devote her time as a stay-at-home mother and maintaining a stable and supportive home. As a young single mother, she met and fell in love with Brian Langlois, and the two were married on March 18, 1972. Together, they built a life in Ravenna and shared over 50 years of marriage until Brian’s passing in 2025.

Connie served her community as Treasurer for Moorland Township and played a meaningful role in establishing the Moorland Township Fire Department’s auxiliary and canteen services, supporting those who served others.

One of Connie’s greatest joys and proudest roles was caring for her daughter Tammy until her passing in 2019. Connie’s love for Tammy was evident in everything she did—especially when she took up sewing to create clothing tailored specifically for Tammy’s needs. She became quite skilled, crafting beautiful and thoughtful pieces. She also enjoyed knitting and took pride in creating items by hand.

Connie was known for her strength of conviction and her willingness to share her perspective. She remained deeply committed to her family throughout her life. In her later years, despite ongoing health challenges, she was surrounded by the support of her family, with her daughter Jamie serving as her primary caregiver and constant companion.

She also enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, including frequent meals at Mr. B’s, and valued time spent with those closest to her.

Connie is survived by her children, Scott (Allison) Langlois and Jamie (Travis Patterson); her bonus daughter, Ayla Haack; her grandchildren, Keegan Johnson (Jasmine Hastings), Kayn Reickert (Pearce), and Luke Solis; her great-grandson, Ronin Johnson; her siblings, Sally Maxfield (Pat), Dena Sebright, Darlene Peck, Sandy Sitzer, and David Peck; along with many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Brian; her daughter, Tammy; her parents, Donald and Christina Peck and Dorothy and John Ross; and her siblings, Dale Peck and Danny Peck.

Connie will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her quiet strength, and the many ways she expressed love through acts of care and creativity.

Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St. Coopersville, MI 49404. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Throop Funeral Home, with Rev. Cori Conran officiating. Burial will take place in Maplewood Cemetery in Lamont.
