CL é�a�A"Redé�a�� Sutterfield, age 85, of Coopersville, passed away surrounded by family Thursday, January 2, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Red was born in Cromwell OK. to Homer and Lillie (Cunningham) Sutterfield who preceded him in death. He served in the US Army and met his wife Lorna while stationed in Wisconsin. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends. Red will be deeply missed by his wife of 60 years Lorna; children, Jeff (Lisha) Sutterfield, Kim (Nancy) Sutterfield, Monica (Erv) Klein, Lori Haisma, Kathi (Tom) Miller, Teri Krebsbach and Dana (Carolyn) Sutterfield; daughter-in-law, Linda Sutterfield; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother-in-law Al VanDenBerg; sisters-in-law Nancy Sutterfield and Lucille Fritz-Smith and several nieces and nephews. Red was also preceded in death by his son Daniel Sutterfield, son-in-law Bill Haisma, brother and sister-in-law Leon and Jo Sutterfield, brother Lenn Sutterfield and sister Sandra VanDenBerg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 12:00 noon at St Michaelé�a�a��s Church 17150 88th Ave, Coopersville, with Fr. Dave Gross celebrant. Burial will be in St Michaelé�a�a��s Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday 3 to 6 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville.
