She enjoyed a diverse and rewarding career in nursing caring for patients in a psychiatric ward, victims of traumatic brain injury, families at the health department, and donors at the blood bank and her most cherished time in the newborn nursery. In her retirement, Carol loved to travel the country with her husband Bill (and their cat Mia) in their motorhome.
