Carl Welsheimer

Carl Allen Welsheimer, age 62, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Millard “Bud” and Elsie (Workman) Welsheimer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Ben, brothers-in-laws Michael Sherlock, Tim Sherlock and nephew Marcus DeWit. Carl loved spending time with his grandchildren as they were his everything. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing and mowing his lawn. Carl will be deeply missed by his wife of 40 years Kathleen (Sherlock) Welsheimer; children, Jacklyn (Adam) Gentile, Ashley (Brett) Simons; grandchildren, Elizabeth Welsheimer, Julien Auve, Caoilinn Moore, Juliet Mae Simons, Logan Alexander Simons, Zoey Kay Gentile; siblings, Ron (Violet) Welsheimer, Randy Welsheimer, Anita (Kevyn) DeWit, Lisa (Josh) Jarka; father-in-law, Benjamin Sherlock; sisters-in-law, Cindi (Ted) Howe, Mary (Chris) Pennington and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St. Coopersville, MI 49404. With Rev.
