Bruce Fish

Bruce E. Fish, age 80, of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday Dec 1, 2017. He was born in Grand Rapids to the late Martin and Genevieve (Cook) Fish. Bruce was a graduate of Coopersville High School class of 1955, served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a sheet metal worker. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hobby farming and was a devoted John Deere tractor and Ford truck guy. Bruce was preceded in death by his granddaughter Staci Cheadle. He is survived by his daughter, Theresa (Rodger) Cheadle; son, David (Amelia) Fish; grandson, Brian (Olivia) Cheadle and great grandchildren Zoe, Travis and Henry; grandson, Randy (Brianna) Cheadle and great grandchildren Colton and Brooks; granddaughter, Traci Cheadle; granddaughter Stephanie Skawinski and great grandchildren Aaliyah and Marisa; brothers Mike (Kathy) Fish and Dale Fish; sister Elaine VanHouten and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. A life celebration memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec 9th 11:00 A.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville with his son David Fish officiating.
