Bonnie (White) Ryder

March 27, 1947 — March 14, 2024

Bonnie (White) Ryder, age 76, of Gladstone, MI. formerly of Coopersville, MI., passed away Thursday March 14, 2024.

Bonnie was born on March 27, 1947 in Baltimore Maryland and a few years later moving to and settling in Michigan with her family. It is there that she met the love of her life, Ron. They married in the fall of 1963 and would go on to have 3 beautiful children, Terri, James and Jeannie, whom she cherished more than anything in this world...except maybe her grand babies and great-grand babies.

She enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life; selling Avon in her earlier years, little roadtrips with her sweetheart and casino trips with her dear friends. There was no limit to her artistic abilities, she'd create beautiful, lasting memories for her family and friends her entire life. From knitting and crocheting everything from hats and mittens to beautiful custom blankets. Embroidered handbags, pillowcases and amazing dollhouses made entirely out of fabric. She would discover her ultimate passion and talent later on in life was painting. Her talent reaching new heights with each brushstroke.

She had a servants heart that knew no bounds and was evident in her love of helping others. Whether it be giving rides to neighbors and friends or feeding the neighborhood, everyone knew they could count on her.

While we are grief stricken with the loss of our matriarch, we are grateful for the beautiful life she lived and that we were blessed enough to be a part of it. Her love, contagious laughter and generosity will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Peggy and Frank Clark, grandsons Travis Ryke and Anthony Smith Sr. , great grandson Matthew Orcasitas Jr., brother Richard Clark, mother-in-law and father-in-law Iris and Orville Ryder, sister-in-law Carol Dodge, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Susan and Dan Dykstra, brother-in-law Dave Colpetzer.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 60 yrs, Ron Ryder; children Terri (Rodney) Holmes, James Ryder and Jeannie Ryder; grandchildren, Jennifer (Nick) Hintz, Dalaina (Wally) Wheeler, Dustin (Caitlyn) Ryke, Andrew (Carlie) Emaus, Zackary Emaus and Paige, Victoria Emaus and Cody, Vanessa Young and Troy Young Jr.; 17 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, David (Sandee) White, Joann (Robert) Fielstra, Harry Clark and Diane, LuSinda Clark, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard Dodge, Tom (Terry) Ryder, Doreen Colpetzer and Laurie (Dan) Noel; several nieces and nephews. Whom all she cherished deeply.
