Betty Jane (Lowing) Knauf

Betty Jane Knauf, age 95, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Lynn and Vane (Schnurer) Lowing. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John, daughter and son in law, Susan (John) Hornacek and siblings. Betty loved spending time with her family and friends and loved working for the bakery in her younger years. She will be deeply missed by her son, Mike (Sue) Knauf; grandchildren, Patrick (Rori) Hornacek, Darleen (Jason) Barkel, Anne (Neal) Martinelli, Joseph Hornacek, Christina (Matt) Eisen, Barbara (Andrew) Hosmer, Kathleen (Michael) Ross, Mary (Philip) Roblin; 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at St Michael’s Catholic Church, 17150 88th Ave, Coopersville, MI 49404. A funeral mass will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 5, 2025 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Fr. Tom Page celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery.
