Aleatha “Lee” Marshall, age 81, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017. She was born in Grand Rapids, to the late Ralph and Caroline (McCracken) Sessions. Lee was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence  “Sonny” Marshall, daughter Caroline, grandson Jonathan, great granddaughter Bristol, sister Ellen Houston and brothers Blaine, Owen, Frank and Mike Sessions. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a very kind and caring person always thinking of others before herself. Lee is survived by her children, Jean (Paul) Gallagher, Shawn (Deb) Marshall and Lorinda Tammens; grandchildren, Tara (Alan) Holmes, Sara Price, Monica (Paul) Magoon, June (Matt) Schwartz, Shawn II (Amber) Marshall; great grandchildren, Nevaeh , Khloe, Andrew, Zayla, Braylon, Cameron, Carter, Hailee, Shawn III and Beckett; brother Gerald (Jean) Sessions; sister Patricia (Tim) Smith; sisters-in-law, Lucy Sessions, Dorothy Sessions, Vera Sessions, Alma (Dick) DesJardins, Kitty (Chuck) Fritz, Sharon (Rick) Meinel, Mary (Joe) Thompson; brother-in-law Tom Marshall and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at St Michael’s Church, Coopersville with Fr. Ayub Nasar Celebrant. Interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Coopersville. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday morning one hour prior to the service at Church.
